WHO WAS GIULIO CESARE?
Gaius Julius Caesar was born on July 13, 101 b.C. (Before the birth of Christ). Descendant of a noble Roman family, became one of the greatest warriors in history. With his legions (groups of soldiers) conquered many countries by becoming Rome's largest and powerful center of antiquity.
Cesare well as warrior, he was a skilled politician who worked to build temples where the people could pray the Roman gods (see the section: Learn the mythology with IUL), aqueducts and roads. He was betrayed and killed by people who Caesar believed his friends on March 15, 44 BC, among which there was also his adopted son Brutus.
