Ten = DECEM
The Romans often used to say "first", "second", "third" and so on, also to indicate the time, they said "the first time", "the second time" etc.
First = PRIMUS
Second = SECUNDUS
Third = Tertius
Fourth = QUARTUS
Fifth = QUINTUS
Sixth = SEXTUS
Seventh = SEPTIMUS
Eighth = OCTAVUS
Ninth = NONUS
Tenth = DECIMUS
