THOUGHT OF SOCRATES
You know dear friends who was Socrates? Well, mainly it was a great man with the courage of a lion and then one of the greatest philosophers of antiquity! He was born around 470 b. C. in Athens and invented a method to analyze every thought that came to mind for a human being in a critical way.
Perhaps it may seem a small thing, but analyzing critically concepts, he always managed to demonstrate how his fellow citizens were cocky and arrogant in the increasingly claim to be the true and correct.
In short, he made them angry so much that first tried to poison him and then sentenced him to death in 399 b.C. Socrates did not leave anything in writing because he loved the dialogue as a form of analysis of thought, as well as it was not even very loved by his students, as you put it on paper than he often appears to be unloving and even unreliable.
However thanks to them, at least we posterity we learned that a long time ago, an Athenian named Socrates, challenged his peoples, saying, "I know I do not know" and forced everyone to start thinking more about what claimed. This man who has been called the "father of moral philosophy", is now considered by many as the first martyr of the freedom of thought.
