WHO WAS THE GOD ZEUS?
Jupiter (Zeus in greek) was the leader of the Greeks residing on Olympus (name of greek mountain where the gods lived).

This god was feared by the other gods and from humans too. With a lightning strucked who dared challenge him, and thus, took the control of his family litigiosissima made by sisters, brothers, a wife and several children.
Jupiter was the force of nature and the ancient Greeks saw in him all the virtues and the faults. The greatest sculptor of antiquity, Phidias, made him a huge statue in gold and ivory, in the temple of Olympia in the Peloponnese. Phidias describing him as a king sitting on a throne from the bearded face, a lightning bolt in his hand and an eagle, the bird that best represents it.
