1° LATIN LESSON
Iul feared that Latin was a difficult language to learn, but he had to change his mind in a hurry! Latin is not complicated to learn it!
Follow the lesson with the little Iul, you'll see that you'll have fun!
The Romans to say "I"
they said: "EGO"
and to say "are"
they said: "SUM"
So, "I'm Iul" becomes: "EGO SUM IUL"
Or "I call me"
they say: "VOCOR"
So, to say "I'm Iul" I have to say: "EGO VOCOR IUL"
To say "good morning"
just say: "SALVE" (A term still used today in italian)
Iul rejoiced on his arrival in Rome and to say in Latin, "I'm in Rome" just say: "SUM ROMAE"
Iul also learned to say "master" in Latin, he says: "MAGISTER"
If he wants to say "sir" in Latin, he says: "DOMINE"
Nothing could be easier, right?
At the next lesson with Iul, the little painter.
